There were only two stipulations—single IPA, and no Citra. In preparation for this hop bomb, we started with a fortified grist, creating mellow notes of honeycomb and caramel. With Citra out of the mix, we jam-packed this beer with a slew of unsung heroes, all selected by hand. The aromas were so striking we gave the hops an encore, altered our cellar procedure, and dry-hopped it twice. No Citra, No Problem pours a vibrant orange, with lip-smacking notes of sticky mango, dank papaya, and citrus peel. As the beer opens up, the amplified hop charge evolves into bright melon aromas, peach, and a hint of bubblegum. ABV 7.4%
