Combining Simcoe hops grown on three different farms this beer has notes of sweet and earthy papaya, rich red berries, pine resin, and juicy stone fruit.
We combined Simcoe hops from three different locations: Coleman Agriculture in St. Paul, Oregon, Jackson Hop Farm in Wilder, Idaho, and bonafide Simcoe specialists Perrault Farms in Yakima, Washington. The result is a single-hop beer that highlights the complexity of Simcoe and expresses the best attributes of each growing region. Atop its peaks of foam, notes of sweet and earthy papaya, rich red berries, pine resin, and juicy stone fruit jump out of the glass. With a gentle bitterness on the finish, this beer is simply wonderful in concert with Tree House’s unique house character.
